TK Home Improvement – Service Disclaimer

TK Home Improvement (“Company”) provides remodeling, renovation, and home improvement services in good faith, using professional care and industry best practices. By engaging our services, you (“Client”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Scope of Work
    • All services will be performed in accordance with the written proposal or contract agreed upon before work begins. Any additional work, changes, or modifications requested by the Client after commencement of the project must be approved in writing and may incur additional costs and/or time.
  2. Material Selection & Availability
    • The Company is not responsible for delays or substitutions due to manufacturer, supplier, or shipping issues. Client-selected materials are installed “as is” from the supplier, and the Company makes no warranties regarding manufacturer defects, finish variations, or future wear.
  3. Pre-Existing Conditions
    • The Company is not responsible for damage, defects, or code violations that existed prior to the commencement of work, nor for repairs to such conditions unless expressly included in the written contract.
    • The Company may uncover hidden conditions (e.g., structural damage, mold, electrical/plumbing issues) during the course of work. Such conditions are outside the original scope and will require a separate agreement for remediation.
  4. Liability Limitations
    • The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of value, or delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, supply chain disruptions, utility interruptions).
    • The Company’s liability for any claim arising from the services provided is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific work in question.
  5. Warranty
    • The Company offers a workmanship warranty as outlined in the project agreement. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use or maintenance by the Client, or issues resulting from third-party work performed after project completion.
    • Manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are passed directly to the Client, and any claims under such warranties must be made with the manufacturer.
  6. Site Conditions & Client Responsibilities
    • The Client agrees to provide a safe and accessible worksite, free from hazards, and to remove or protect personal property from dust, debris, or accidental damage during the project.
    • The Client assumes responsibility for securing pets, children, and any sensitive areas of the property during work hours.
  7. Final Acceptance
    • Upon completion, the Client will inspect and accept the work. Any concerns must be communicated in writing within the agreed warranty period; otherwise, the work shall be deemed satisfactory and complete.

By engaging TK Home Improvement, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer, which forms part of the service agreement.
